Week 5-1 New
way to eat ingredients
I have four
roommates and we live together in groups. Food and energy are also shared. When
our family goes shopping in the supermarket, everyone buys their favorite
foods, so we often buy too much food. We always have milk expired or
meat expired. Through these weeks of study, I have paid more attention to the
aspect that food should not be wasted. So, this weekend, I cleaned out some of
the foods that might expire soon, and there were a few less
vegetables left in the refrigerator.
I
brought the whole family together, cooked these ingredients together, and added
some spices. This dish is called Mala Tang in China. After I explained this to
them, they are not only very
supportive my approach, but also think that this dish is very delicious, I did
not expect that through this incident, my cooking has also improved.
In
the future, I will share some interesting life tipsI have learned in the
classroom with my roommates, which makes my class more meaningful.
