Week 4-2 How to improve traffic jams?
Week 4-2 How to improve traffic jams?
One of the
troubles of my life in Sydney is that buses can't always arrive on time because
of traffic jams. I know that as a first-tier city, there is a lot of traffic,
and there are many public transportation and private vehicles on the road.
Traffic congestion will not only increase travel time, but also increase
greenhouse gas emissions, exacerbate climate change, and bring noise pollution
and traffic accidents.
How to solve this
problem? Today I want to talk about my hometown, Beijing, China, a city with a
famous traffic congestion every day. First, the person who owns the private vehicle is controlled by lot. Secondly, vehicles that control single and double license plate numbers can pass, for example, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday per week are allowed to pass through a single license plate number. The next step is to develop public transport and provide multiple routes and shifts.
This is what I know about improving traffic congestion. Nowadays, many cities have troubles with traffic jams, and many measures have been put in place to improve this phenomenon. I hope that the public travel system in Sydney will develop better and better.
